Dealing with Anxiety & Stress

Let's begin with a small story,
One day a man met Death early in the morning and asked Death,
"What are you doing in my town Death?"
"I am here for 10,000 today", replied Death.
"Sad, for them!", exclaimed the man and left.
The whole day had passed, many had fallen and at the end of the day when death met the man again to bid aideu, the man accused Death,
"You are a liar and a cheat. You claim you came for 10,000 yet 70,000 have fallen in my town for the day"
"I merely came for 10,000; the remaining 60,000 died of worrying whether I came for them or not..." said Death and walked away carrying 70,000 souls.
This is the present scenario in modern society people tend to overthink a lot of stuff and in the end it all adds up to one's own problems. Many medical journals suggest strong correlation between anxiety, stress and cardiac problems.
However, we are at a stage where we cannot avoid the stress and other situations that tend to cause a lot of problems. We can begin this article by busting few myths, firstly we cannot avoid stress and anxiety we need to deal with them. Secondly, we need to understand that not all stress is bad,  sometimes stress forces us to produce positive changes. Keeping these points in mind, I am going to talk about dealing with stress.
Praying, is key to begin this process. When you pray, you get a secure line with your creator which no one else can tap in to. Feel free to share your stress with God. He will help you. Believe me, confessing your problems to God, relieves you of 50 % of the burden you are carrying. It is just a matter of taking a few silent minutes from your busy schedule and letting it all go.
Meditate on the holy scriptures. The old books of wisdom carry a lot of details, in direct sentences shedding light on how to deal with uncanny situations and also have lots of examples of how many characters deal with similar situations. Looking at the Bible, you would probably like to read Matthew 6:26-34, it speaks on how we are instructed not to worry a lot on the details and to rely on our God.
Releasing and Receiving the stress and grace respectively; both the processes are two sides of the same coin and require to be practiced together. There is an awesome technique for implementing the above. At the end of the day when you feel under stress and anxiety, you should gently put your arm ahead, palm down and release all the negativity, think of all the stress you are holding inside your body. Let it all flow, all problems may it be petty or huge, let it all go. Finally, you can turn your palm up and ask God while praying for all that you need, wisdom, virtue, and all that you need. It is his Amazing Grace, that has bought you thus far and will carry you ahead.
Adapting is key to any scenario in this fast paced universe. Not everything in this world can be decided by you, sometimes incidents don't go as you plan, sometimes you are on top of the incidents. However, what matters is accepting the reality over crying over what has happened. It takes an awful lot to flow against the natural flow of a river, however if you use the flow of the river to travel, you will not need much energy. Instead of opposing change it is true maturity, when you accept reality and use the situation to your advantage.
With these four points in mind, we can slay the enemy which is the unwanted stress and anxiety, eating our lives from the inside. Reaching out helps a lot. You are not alone if you feel you are stressed. You need to know that you can deal with it. There is nothing you can't deal with. Have the confidence, tackle the situation smartly.
