Everyone is entitled to their opinions and these are ours. They may seem random to most and they'd be right to assume that. But to us, they represent a moment of profoundness that touched us so much, that we had to share.
Loneliness is forever present in our life. Happiness comes but seldom in life and leaves as quick as it had appeared. Grieve as you must, loneliness is our true companion. And it'll forever be in our lives.
Out of the many virtues we learn in life, one of prime importance is dealing with the personal space of people around you. It is important to know as well as respect the personal space of your peers. Sometimes, we fail to estimate the personal space of a person which leads to a catastrophic collapse of understanding between the two individuals. Enough prologue, let's understand the concept of personal space technically. First, let us define every person as an entity, and each entity has its own priority sequence for various material aspects in life, like food might be on top of someone's priority, for someone else sleep might be on top of priority list. An entity in center with different priorities at random length around it Imagine the black circle as a person and the different colored ring represents different priorities. For every person, the colors of the consecutive circles will form different sequences, as well as the distance between...
I woke at an unusual hour, when the day was still cold, when the entirety of the hostel was still aloof in dreamland. I had looked forward to this "waking" up for long. An amazing day was indeed ahead of this abrupt intermission of my sleep cycle. At around 7:30 AM, we ( Adithya , Anuj , Anurag , Avinash, Greeshma , Kaninika , Manasvi , & Rohit ) started on an exquisite journey, to Varkala . However, the person recovered and came out stronger. We reached Palayam, and had a thrifty breakfast at a vegetarian restaurant. We discussed the next pha...
I have countless memories of my mother pulling me into her lap, regaling me with stories about heroic men; men who found the inner strength to overcome their fears, battled their demons and went on to achieve great feats. Most would say that they give us inspiration to soldier on when one is afraid of what lies ahead. I don’t disagree, but this answer paints fear in a very unflattering manner. If fear is such a negative emotion, as indicated in our lore, then why did fear emerge as an emotion in any sentient being at all? The answer is obvious once you give the question a little thought. There is no courage without fear . Fear is the greatest motivator in the universe. Granted, it isn’t a healthy emotion always, and like all the other emotions, it is multi-faceted. But today, I decided to don my optimism like a c...
